for a
Human Resource Manager
to fill an important role in support of a major NASA HQ contract in the Washington DC area at our Crystal City, VA work location.
Requirements for this position include but not limited to:
Candidate will have a strong working knowledge of the
Fair Labor Standards Act, VA, MD and DC
State Labor, Unemployment and Tax Regulations,
Federal Labor and Unemployment Regulations,
Privacy Act,
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act,
Equal Employment Opportunity Act and Reporting Regulations,
DCAA and benefits (medical, dental, 401K, and retirement)
Other regulations as applicable.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Qualified candidate will perform all aspects of the Human Resource functions with emphasis on technical recruiting, employee relations, internal and external Human Resource audits, developing policies and procedures.
Develop weekly recruiting statistics, and maintain Employment requisition tracking and meetings. . Prepare, analyze and report employee statistics to management as requested.
Perform New Employee orientations and termination out-processing.
Execute, track, and coordinate training for employees such as ethics, sexual harassment, security, timesheets, etc...
Educational and work experience required:
Position requires a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with at least six years experience or eight years equivalent experience.
Preferred candidates will have strong recruiting skills, and NASA experience..
Candidate will have strong organizational and time management skills, ability to communicate with co-workers, management, and others in a courteous and professional manner, detail-oriented, high-level of confidentiality and strong verbal and written communication skills.
U. S. Citizenship Required.
