Responsible for providing Human Resource generalist leadership and support to the Express Home Office associates as it relates to recruiting, associate relations, performance management, succession planning, training assessment/delivery, organizational development needs and proactive talent management.

Essential Tasks
1. Lead, guide and direct all aspects of the Associate life cycle including:
      - Recruiting
      - On-boarding
      - Coordinate and manage training opportunities 
      - Associate relations 
      - Organizational development
      - Leadership support in the area of functional organizational design
      - Termination support
      - Exit interviews
      - The performance management process
2. Partner with the Total Rewards team in the management of compensation and benefits.
3. Successfully manage external contractors and search vendors.
4. Work closely with HR colleagues in Columbus and New York City

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Ability to communicate and influence effectively with all levels inside and outside the Express Home Office
* Demonstrated HR Generalist experience and understanding of HR functions as it relates to a variety of aspects (recruiting, performance management, organizational development, inclusion, associate relations, change management, compensation, legal compliance)
* Strong consulting, contracting and facilitation skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously in a creative and fast paced environment
* Flexibility in thinking with unwavering focus on driving initiatives to completion
* Ability to work effectively while being managed remotely

Work Experience and Education
* Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
* Five to Seven of experience in positions of increasing responsibility in Human Resource field
* Retail experience preferred, especially in Specialty Apparel Retail
* Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office
