currently seek:


An experienced and flexible Human Resources Manager  who embraces the role of Culture Cultivator.
This position is potentially 32 hours per week (over a 5 day work week).






Position Overview:



The HR Manager provides
comprehensive Human Resources management  to the company  Specifically, this includes addressing and
resolving employee relations issues as well as developing, implementing, analyzing
and reporting on the effectiveness of all HR programs. The HR Manager is
required to remain aware of laws and pending legislation governing
compensation, health insurance and benefits to assist in compliance with
relevant employment laws and regulations, from reporting to legal postings.

 



The HR Manager will utilize
a project management skill set to streamline HR policies and processes, from
recruiting to implementing policies and best practices in development,
retention, and regulatory compliance. The role will take on a very proactive
approach to analyzing, designing and implementing strategic HR programs
including (but not limited to) talent management,   salary
and bonus/incentive programs, succession planning, training, benefits,
recognition, managing cultural change, and overall best practices.

Qualifications:



Required:



  • 8+ years of
    relevant prior experience combining solid HR generalist and recruiting
    experience.
  • 1+ year working
    directly with senior-level management.
  • Proven ability to
    embrace internal consultant role.
  • Prior experience
    developing compensation programs including executive bonus programs.
  • Must have
    firsthand knowledge of applicable state/federal employment laws, as well as compensation
    and insurance processes.
  • The ability to
    work both independently and collaboratively within a technical  environment and produce results while
    facilitating a seamless communication environment throughout the company.
  • Ability to work
    in an environment with changing priorities.
  • Exceptional
    communication skills.
  • Ability to work
    additional hours as required by demanding workload.



















Desired:



  • PHR/SPHR
    certification strongly preferred.
  • BA/BS degree strongly
    preferred, preferably a Master’s degree in a related field.
  • International
    experience highly desirable.
  • Experience in a
    technology-based company desired, especially a tech start-up.
  • Small company experience,
    ideally as an “HR department of one” would be very helpful.
  • Merger and
    Acquisitions experience very helpful.
  • Experience
    developing and personally delivering internal training programs (Harassment Prevention,
    Management Basics, Process training for example).
  • German language
    skills would earn extra points.
