Human Resources Manager
Will manage all aspects of Human Resources. Perform hands-on duties, be a team player and willing to perform multiple tasks as a part of the management team. Manage 1-2 associates within the HR team. Develop, implement and administer HR policies. Develop and conduct training programs. Advise managers and supervisors on appropriate policy Practices and disciplinary actions. Perform other duties and assist other departments when requested. Provide HR leadership in order to develop and foster a team environment. Manage performance evaluation program with a focus on MBO. Interact with people at all levers (education and experience). interacting with associates, manufacturing Supervisors and resolve associate relation's issues. Administer asso-ciate discipline. Knowledge of employment legislation and regulations, Understanding of employment and HR practices, Familiar-ity with TS 16049, ISO 9000-HR elements, Solid pro-active union avoidance skills, Worker's Compensation. Benefit Administration. Conflict Resolution, Safety and Health Programs, 5S Programs and Kaizen.
5 plus years hands on HR generalist experience in manufacturing. Ability to remain calm in a stressful employee relation situation. Experience in conducting all aspects of recruiting including recruitment, screening, interviewing, selection and placement. 4 year degree in Human Resources. PHR and SPHR certification desired.
