Job Title: Human Resources Manager


 


Job Summary: Fluidics has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Administrator who will lead the HR function out of the Philadelphia office.  This position requires knowledge of HR laws for the PA, NJ, MD, VA region.  Candidate should be knowledgeable of employment policies and laws.  Position also requires basic management of key HR functions such as:  employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development and various projects. 


 


Main responsibilities include:  administration of personnel files, HRIS system, benefits and compensation administration, management and coaching for employee relations issues, management of disability and life insurance claims, handle all recruiting needs and work with project managers to address open positions and oversee on-boarding process, address any training needs and design programs to fit management needs, handling all employee questions on a daily basis related to benefits, compensation, union agreements, etc.  Act as the main point of contact for supervisor and managers with HR issues and questions.


 


Qualifications:  Seeking someone with a bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field with at least two to three years of experience in a human resources role.  Excellent written and oral communication is necessary.  Experience working in Excel and PowerPoint is a must.  Experience working with Cerdian HRIS modules a plus.  Data entry skills necessary.  Candidates should have a track record working with confidential information.  Experience working in a union environment is a plus.
