The Santa Fe Springs Carbon Operation designs and produces ceramic and carbon high temperature composites for aerospace and automotive applications. The Ceramic Composites applications include turbine engine components, industrial products and launch vehicles. The Carbon Composites business involves wet and dry friction applications with the focus on aircraft and specialty products. We offer a competitive benefits and compensation package. EOE AA



Objective:

Working in conjunction with other Aircraft, Wheels & Brakes site HR leaders; Develops appropriate human resources plans in support of key business needs in a dynamic, changing environment. Implements appropriate change management plans as required. Formulates and recommends human resources policies and objectives. Determines and recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale. Works as a strategic business partner to ensure HR strategies are aligned to support the business strategies and objectives. Typically responsible for a small single business unit.



Responsibilities:

*Work with site Operations Director and other AWB site HR leaders to implement Goodrich People Philosophy.

*Develop and maintain AAP, EEO-1 annually, maintain other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.

*Implements comprehensive staffing plans for the organization, including diversity. Consult with assigned organization's management in aligning performance management and reward recommendations. Works closely with department management to assess pipeline of talent and create strategy to identify and retain current talent as well as attract outside talent to the business.

*Identify training needs for the business.

*Provide assistance and guidance to employees and managers on personnel and labor issues, compensation and benefits, policies, procedures, standards.

*Handle employee investigations, terminations, and other such employment matters.

*Administer site training program, leave programs, workers comp program.

*Maintain OSHA log and accident reporting process.

*Manage employee relations: communication, activities, events.

*Minimum of five years HR management experience.

*Proven ability to manage a wide variety of HR programs and change management.

*Employee relations experience.

*Staffing and recruiting experience

*Experience supervising and motivating employees to accomplish established objectives.

*Bachelor's Degree in Business or HR Mgmt.
