We are currently seeking a Human Resources & Recruiting Manager for our Spokane office. The HR & Recruiting Manager is responsible for the overall planning, organization, development, and implementation of all people-related activities within the practice office in accordance with firm policy and provide proactive insight, guidance and support to the office’s partner group and employees, helping to make Moss Adams an employer of choice.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with office leadership to formulate and drive the firm’s “People Cornerstone” strategy.  Use metrics, trends, and industry knowledge to address people issues from a business perspective
  • Manage performance and career development processes for the office, including project evaluations, semi-annual assessments, and upward feedback
  • Partner with office campus recruiting team and local/regional universities to execute strategy and detailed plans for entry-level hiring
  • Team with firm’s experienced hire recruiting function to facilitate interviewing of executive-level candidates
  • Provide leadership in employee engagement/satisfaction processes, including analysis of survey results, formulation and implementation of action plans, identification of key drivers of success, etc.
  • Expand and enhance a mentoring mindset among all levels of personnel, including support for mentoring by office leadership.
  • Act as a resource to partners and employees, managing and resolving critical employee relations issues
  • Ensure flawless execution of all administrative processes including on-boarding, promotions, compensation adjustments, exit interviews, departures, immigration, unemployment claims, record-keeping, etc.
  • Partner with firm’s headquarters HR function on implementation of programs and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, required
  • Minimum of six years of comprehensive HR management experience in a complex organization
  • Experience with performance management, total rewards, employee relations, recruiting/hiring, legal/regulatory compliance, training and systems preferred
  • Proven experience in researching and applying Federal and State employment laws and in initiating and managing change
  • SPHR/PHR certification, additional graduate level coursework in HR our business, and/or experience in a professional services industry preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service (internal and external)
  • Ability to manage numerous project and work processes simultaneously
  • Excellent project management/organizational skills
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated initiative and leadership skills
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels
  • Able to handle confidential material and sensitive situations in a reliable manner
