Human Resources Administrator
SUMMARY
Administer the company’s compensation and employee benefit programs including health, welfare and voluntary programs for global benefit plans; write job descriptions; assist with maintaining and updating the job structure and salary plans for the enterprise. Also, assist as back-up for HRIS.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Benefits
- Process new hire enrollment, benefit changes, updates, benefit terminations, COBRA reinstatements and COBRA terminations.
- Defined Contribution plan administration: Process new enrollees, terminations and deferral changes; responsible for transmission of contribution, match, and loan information to record keeper. Assist with internal and external auditing.
- Coordinate Section125 plan administration including processing of enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Maintain and update employee benefit files.
- Enter benefits-related data into computerized human resources information system.
- Maintain files containing enrollment forms and other benefits documentation.
- Investigate and resolve questions/claims issues regarding delivery and payment for services by contacting health care professionals and other service providers, benefits plan providers, and employees.
- Produce monthly self-bill vendor invoices and reconcile monthly list bills from various vendors.
- Research and resolve weekly carrier feed warnings and errors.
- Responsible for leave of absence administration including collection of applicable premiums from employees.
- Assist in the open enrollment process including document preparation, employee meetings, enrollments/changes, and coordination with carriers/vendors.
- Other duties may be assigned to support the organization and its goals.
Compensation
- Assist with administering the company’s compensation plan including job analysis, classification and pricing.
- Update the position structure, salary ranges, and related compensation plans as directed.
- Write job descriptions and assist management in updating same as requested.
HRIS
- Serve as back-up for HRIS Administrator utilizing ADP Enterprise V5 and related ADP benefit platforms.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
HRIS experience – ADP Enterprise HR V5; PeopleSoft 7.0 or higher, Oracle 11.0 or higher.
Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel.
