- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science and 15+ years business related experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills necessary
- Must be a team player and able to work with end users in order to identify business needs and translate them into practical system and reporting designs
- May be required to make system and / or application recommendations to Senior Management
- May be required to supervise other employees within a project based environment
- Must be able to effectively train end-user on related applications within the Hyperion Suite or supported applications
- Working knowledge of Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft Office Suite 2003 is necessary
- Working knowledge of various report writing applications is a plus. Executive Viewer or ArcPlan knowledge for example
- 15+ years of OLAP Database, Hyperion Essbase is a must with a skilled, working knowledge of Hyperion Planning
- Background in financial applications required, previous experience with general ledgers, budgeting applications, or financial reporting preferred
- Insurance industry experience is not necessary, but would be a plus

Overview of Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for working within the CFO’s Department to provide information systems functions to meet their business needs and reporting.
Typical responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Turns user requirements into effective system designs and reports
- Provide end user support for existing applications, Hyperion Essbase, and various other financial applications
- Develop financial reporting applications to enhance the accounting department’s capabilities to produce more effective reporting and financial information
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement third party software solutions to meet departmental needs
- Design interfaces to support data from various outside sources, which will be brought into existing applications
- Provide report-writing services to accounting department for reporting requirements using Executive Viewer, Hyperion Essbase, Microsoft Excel, ArcPlan, COGNOS, as well as other industry related report writing utilities
This position is located in Wilmington, Delaware. Relocation will be considered on a case by case basis.
