• Design, implement and administer software build & deployment systems and Environments.


• Work with development teams to adopt configuration management and build procedures


• Control code deliveries to the baseline, perform builds and deployments to various environments


• Deploy software with full and incremental approach


• Work with development, testing and others to identify and resolve bottlenecks in the path to production.


• Explore and evaluate new processes, techniques and tools


• Coordinate with other environment owners within the company and perform checkout to ensure test team has an available and stable end to end test platform

• A strong technical foundation in build, release and environments


• Attention to detail


• Basic knowledge of a high level language: Java/C++/C#.


• An eagerness to learn enough about whatever tools or tricks are needed to get the job done


• ability to design and support build, deployment and configuration management systems for multi-tier Java J2EE


• Experience of continuous integration environments: CruiseControl/Hudson etc.


• Understanding of software configuration issues


• Experience with defect and change management systems: JIRA/Quality Center/ClearQuest


• Experience with SCM tools (SVN, Clearcase, etc)


• Scripting language experience (Perl, Python, etc)


• Expertise with software build tools (Ant, Maven, NAnt, Rake,)


• Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.


• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Self-motivated and able to work in a highly dynamic organization.
