We are seeking a self-motivated and dedicated systems professional to be a part of the team that supports the back-office fixed-income process. As an Application developer, for our Back Office System application, you will provide high quality data distribution and reporting solutions that address specific business needs by developing, enhancing and supporting applications within a mature technology environment.  Data distribution is heavily stored procedure oriented and the successful candidate must demonstrate a working knowledge stored procedures in Sybase.




Required Skills:
• Minimum 4  years application development work experience

• System design and development skills including analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing and implementation applications

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Ability to work independently, make independent decisions, understand and articulate business requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build business relationships
 
Desired Skills:
Experience in the following areas a definite plus:

• Knowledge of financial markets, especially fixed-income trading

Technical Qualifications

In order of importance:

• Sybase  4-5 years, within 1 year

• Sybase stored procedures 4-5 years, within 1 year

• Java 2-3 years, within 1 year

• Unix  4-5 year, within 1 year

• Unix Shell Scripting  4-5 years, within 1 year
