Master’s degree required. Licensed or license eligible. Experience with a recovery focused approach to mental health and dual diagnosis treatment preferred. Applicant must possess skills in the areas of: comprehensive assessment, leadership, training, time-management, and effective verbal and written communication. Experience with facilitating groups and formulating treatment plans.
The Clinician will be a leader in the implementation of the Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) model at a residential program. This program is a residence providing services to eight individuals who live with mental health challenges. The clinician will also be involved in developing and implementing community-based IMR group(s) for other individuals receiving services under the North County DMH Community Based Flexible Support contract.
This is a leadership position and includes the responsibility of developing and leading IMR groups, consultation team meetings as well as assisting in establishing the culture of IMR in the program(s). In addition, the responsibilities of this position include providing staff trainings and individualized case consultation independently and/or with assistance of the Director of IMR Services.
