ISW ITS Security Solution Sales Representative - Industrial Sector
Job description
  • Prefer candidates located in one of the following cities: Chicago; San Francisco; Los Angeles; Denver; or Kansas City
  • The ITS Solution Sales Representative is responsible for positioning and selling the entire Security Services Solution portfolio across an assigned Sector. Additional responsibilities include opportunity identification and ownership, go-to-market strategy, customer satisfaction, and ISS financial performance across the Sector. By focusing on key Sector accounts, the ISR must leverage established account relationships of extended IBM sales teams (S&D, SWG, GTS) to drive Security Services solution sales.

    Ideal candidates will have security background and strong sales skills and experience in managing a broad geographic and diverse territory. The ISR position is the focal for all Security Services offerings within a Sector, so industry knowledge is also very essential. The main focus of the ISR is Opportunity Identification and Opportunity Ownership. The candidate must have the ability to develop security pursuit strategies in key accounts and support new business opportunities which include defining sales opportunities, determining engagement scope & cost projections, formulating potential security solutions based on client requirements, and functioning as the Security Sales Subject Matter Expert (SME) across the assigned Sector. Candidate must demonstrate the use of consultative sales techniques to develop and broaden sales opportunities in target accounts.

    Required

    • At least 2 years experience in Security Services Sales
    • At least 1 year experience in Consultative Sales Techniques
    • Readiness to travel 50% travel annually
    • English: Fluent


    Preferred

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • At least 5 years experience in Security Services Sales
    • At least 5 years experience in demonstrated success closing large deals
    • At least 5 years experience in Consultative Sales Techniques
    • At least 2 years experience in selling within the Industrial Sector
    • Certified in CISSP
