We are an established, fast-growing company in the IT services and networking products field currently seeking a motivated, professional account executive to join our sales team in Virginia.


 


Our company delivers a wide range of professional IT services (project and contract based) and network technologies (data/voice/video) to a growing base of customers in the SMB and public sector markets. Established in 1996, our company has grown steadily with financial stability and integrity and is currently a valuable resource for many leading organizations that leverage information technology to enhance their operations.

The Position:
Our Account Executives are responsible for
driving new business revenue by establishing new accounts and cultivating existing accounts within a variety of vertical markets. This position requires a driven, results oriented and self-motivated individual who can successfully serve as a revenue generator and primary link between our organization and our clients/prospective clients.


 


Key Qualifications:
• Technical sales experience in information technology products and services; networking systems and IT services highly desired.


• Proven track record B2B sales with refined skills in prospecting, qualification and closing skills.


Minimum of 5 years outside sales experience.


• Excellent consultative selling skills with the ability to identify client needs.
• Ability to manage large client base while meeting new sales objectives.
• Ability to think independently and create solutions for client and company goals. 
• Ability to grow existing business and develop positive and strategic working relationships with current accounts.
• Strong written communication skills.


• Excellent verbal communication skills, including the confidence to explain the basics of technology and product usage to clients and to present detailed proposals.
• Have the unique combination of being independent and self-motivated, while proactively staying connected to the corporate office.
• Must live within 1 hour commute of corporate office.


• Must be able to work in the field as required. This job will require a varying combination of travel and office work as required.


• Must be highly organized with excellent time management skills.
