Position Description

IT Analyst - PLM Software

OUR CLIENT:
Is a global leader in the electronic components industry.  They design, manufacture and market products across multiple consumer verticals.  They offer exposure to the latest and greatest technologies and various career paths. MUST HAVES:
•    Course work or equivalent experience with Java / J2EE programming language.
•    Strong problem solving capabilities. Results oriented. Relies on fact-based logic for decision-making.
•    Strong communication skills
•    Strong customer focus
•    Ability to work with multiple projects and work streams at one time. Must be able to deliver results based upon project deadlines.

NICE TO HAVES:
•    Project Management experience
•    Experience working in a global organization a plus. Must be able to travel worldwide and will flex daily work schedule to allow for time-zone differences for global team communications
•    Knowledge and/or Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
•    Strong interpersonal skills for driving strategic initiatives through large and diverse organizations. Experience and/or Knowledge of Engineering Processes (New Product Development, Engineering Change, New Part Introduction
•    Project Management experience
•    Experience working in a global organization a plus. Must be able to travel worldwide and will flex daily work schedule to allow for time-zone differences for global team communications
•    Knowledge and/or Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
 
Required Education Level:
•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science OR equivalent experience and knowledge required.

Responsibilities:
This individual will be responsible for support / train PLM software solutions based on the MatrixOne commercial software. Specific applications include Project Management, Portfolio Management, Requirements Management, and Resource management. Responsibilities will include: developing training material, conducting training, providing end user support, testing, gathering requirements. Some travel may be required.
