Position available in Boca Raton FL for an IT Business Analyst.

Job Description:

Act as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems.

Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

Gather and define business requirements.

Analyze and map processes (current state/future state, as-is/to-be).

Produce high quality documentation that includes but is not limited to Vision Documents, Functional and Non-functional Requirements Documents, Use Cases, and Test Cases.

Liaise with various business units to gather requirements and resolve issues.

Liaise with other project areas to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues.

Provide guidance to stakeholders on devising effective and efficient approaches to achieve project objectives.

Provide guidance and demonstration to other BA staff on UML and other requirements modeling.

Assist in defining and documenting standard templates for BA artifacts and BA processes.

Create test cases that prove specified requirements are being satisfied.

Analyze data.

Report status and issues to Project Manager(s).

Required Skills:

Professional level technical writing skills in addition to excellent verbal communication skills and customer facing capabilities.

7+ Years knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (UML) with hands on experience that includes modeling, diagramming, OO modeling, etc.

7+ years performing requirements modeling using activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, state diagrams, data models, and use-cases.

Experience using Telelogic DOORs and DocExpress.

Knowledge of SQL programming and one or more relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, etc.

Experience in software requirements gathering in a financial institution and knowledge of GAAP.

High-volume transactional processing experience.

Proven ability to work independently as part of a dispersed team and as part of a matrix organization.

Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent experience.

Any previous government related experience is highly desired.
