IT Business Analyst
Description: In this role, you will analyze and document business and user requirements to enable new development and maintenance of engineering business systems and CAD automation systems. You will also lead cross-functional workshops and discussions with assigned subject matter experts and user representatives along with Information Technology. You will develop functional specifications that can be used to generate architecture and technical specifications. We will need you to prepare process and flowcharts outlining existing and proposed solutions to a problem, manage the deliverables in accordance with project management methodologies and, assist software development resources with understanding the business requirements.
Strong technical and analytical skills in the following areas:
- Capable of facilitating cross-functional workshops between multiple business and IT disciplines - Able to apply project management and general IT management methodologies - Communication of project status and risks to management - Collaboration in a team environment - Building of successful internal and external working relationships to deliver solutions to business problems - Delivery of high quality business system solutions - Engineering or CAD background a plus
Qualifications: Bachelors in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or related experience.
At least 3 to 5 years of related experience.
Broad based background in IT technology, business and systems analysis and process design.
