Responsibilities: · Provide analysis and quality assurance support for mainframe applications and Java-based technologies in a fast-paced environment utilizing Agile development practices. · Project coordination including facilitation of collaborative requirements sessions. · Provide requirements analysis and testing support to Policy System business groups with respect to application technologies. · Research, elicit and define user requirements, service requirements and external vendor integration requirements for projects involving existing and new application. · Responsibilities also include creation of test strategies and plans, and development of automated tests Must be proficient in: · Critical thinking skills · Requirements elicitation techniques · Systems analysis · Meeting facilitation · Problem solving · Multi-tasking · Time management · Prioritizing work · Working independently | Position Requirements - 5+ years of current experience in software development with progressive increases in responsibility.
- 3 or more years of experience as an IT/IS Business Systems Analyst
- 3 or more years of experience in requirements gathering, technical requirements definition, testing, documentation, production implementation and support
- Must be able to elicit, capture and document detailed requirements and test strategies to meet specific business requirements.
- History of effectively facilitating requirements gathering sessions with business partners
- Hands on experience in the setup, maintenance and execution of manual and automated software tests.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Education equivalent to a four year degree in an information technology related discipline, or the equivalent in related work experience.
