            RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Provides first tier technical support, incident, and problem management to end users on the technology issues regarding computer operations and networks including software support and administration, installation,  setups, error messages, system status, and downtime procedures, etc.
  • Troubleshoots and supports software applications and business processes, troubleshoots and repairs new or existing hardware. Analyzes and tests new hardware/software configurations.
  • Maintains accurate and consistent records of all calls and the resolution provided in each instance.
  • Utilizes information gathered by incident and problem type to proactively improve overall service.
  • Assists systems analysts to design, develop, evaluate, qualify and improve software programs or processes.
Assists systems analysts to design, develop, evaluate, qualify and improve hardware configurations.
Utilizes software application programs such as MS Office products and other End User Services stand tools.




  • REQUIREMENTS:
    Associate Degree or equivalent relevant experience or training.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the technical field (advanced skills, additional education and exceptional performance may alter this requirement).
  • Must possess good oral, written and listening communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 9x/NT4/W2K/XP required. Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve a broad range of technical problems.
  • Demonstrate basic networking skills: Ethernet, TCP/IP, Wireless, VPN, NIC and connectivity analysis. Possess a basic understanding of DNS and DHCP.
  • Experience with and understanding of Active Directory administration. Superb customer service skills. Possess good time management and organization skills.
