JOB DESCRIPTION: IT Director
· Manage and coordinate the systems development function. Work with key development vendors as project manager to deliver projects on-time and on-budget.
· Designing and developing a reliable and fast WAN infrastructure.
· Manage the other major IT systems including the MAS 500 accounting software.
· Manage the company’s information technology infrastructure to ensure a cost effective platform with due consideration to information security, continuity of business and disaster recovery.
· Serve as a counselor to and catalyst for other senior executives in identifying new areas for technology improvement, resulting in operational efficiencies, increased productivity and profitable use of evolving information systems and communications technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with MS Server and Majority of Server Applications, Exchange e-mail 2003-2007, Web Services, Active Directory, BES, Virtualization and 3+ years of experience in PC Technical Support.
- Proven experience in Project Management for multi-site applications.
- Experience in management and configuration of Cisco routers and switches preferred.
- Experience in management, implementation and maintenance of MS SQL and Terminal Service servers.
- Experience in configuration of devices like handhelds, scan guns, label printers, printers in general and other various office devices.
- Must be self-motivated and have good people and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven experience in IT hardware procurement & vendor management.
- Experience with budgets and purchasing.
- Education level * ideal candidate has a 4-year college degree in computer engineering or related field.
