IT/Healthcare EDI Analyst - Moline, IL Position Description: Partners with operational areas to translate high level business requirements into detailed business/process functional specifications in order to implement a technological solution for projects or processes of low to medium complexity. May also perform system configuration of low to medium complexity, system testing, end user training, and end user support for the processes after implementation. May be responsible for project management on small projects. Primary Responsibilities: - EDI experience with X12 transaction sets 820, 834, 835, 837I, 837P, 837D, 270/271 and 997
- Researches, analyzes and documents business requirements for developing or enhancing systems
- Facilitates understanding of both the business and IT to ensure business decisions meet the business requirements as well as facilitate business decision meetings to keep projects moving forward. Performs and provides analysis of business opportunities supported by a business case, feasibility study, justification, process improvements, and options for solutions and benefits for each solution
- Understands and applies appropriate system development methodologies to produce deliverables including business flow process and other required documentation
- Maintains a strong and collaborative relationship with the business and IT and serves as a strong advocate of the new/enhanced process or solution through various methods of communication to the organization
- Participates in unit and integration testing or works closely with the testing team to ensure understanding of business requirements in order to ensure process/system is thoroughly tested
- Supports business in developing and delivering end user training. Addresses end user process questions for processes that have been implemented, provides process/system break/fix support, and implements process/system enhancements
- Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadlines
- Understanding of computer technology, methodology, and full life-cycle development. Performs more complex functions, understands principles and may teach others
- Ability to analyze, translate, and define business requirements into technical solutions
- Capable of collaborating with business leaders to provide information technology solutions
- Knowledge of multiple business processes of assigned area(s) and/or function(s)
- Skill in interpersonal communication, negotiation, supplier management relations and conflict resolution
- Implementation/Modification of EDI transactions which involve change in process (1 - 3 years)

Qualifications: - IT Business Analyst experience - 4-7 yrs
- Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience (University Degree (4 years or equivalent)) or relevant work experience
- EDI experience with one of the healthcare X12 transition sets (820, 834, 835, 837P, 837D, 270/271 and 997) - 2-3 yrs
- MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) - Proficient
- Healthcare industry experience - 2 yrs
