Pinnacle Foods Group LLC, a $2 billion food company whose brands include Swanson Frozen Foods, Vlasic Pickles, Mrs. Paul's Frozen Fish, Celeste Pizza, Lender's Bagels, Duncan Hines, Mrs. Butterworth's, Van de Kamp's, Aunt Jemima, Log Cabin, is seeking an energetic individual to fill a Help Desk Analyst position.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Candidate must be extremely organized and detail oriented.
- Perform administrative duties on network operating systems including user/group account setup and maintenance.
- Perform assistance for remote staff based in home offices, hotels, etc., utilizing wireless networks and Cisco VPN software.
- Perform hardware/software installation and maintenance, including upgrades.
- Handling daily user requests for network, hardware, email, and Office application support and problem resolution.
- On-going Level I & II troubleshooting, maintenance and support of the Corporate Network Infrastructure.
- Assist in the imaging and installation of PCs, monitors, attach peripherals, configure hardware, and run diagnostics.
- Interacts with Track-It suite of help desk management applications to accurately log all activity and calls, and to route requests to the proper IT resources.
- Troubleshoot hardware/software and perform necessary repairs.
- Handle special projects with no degradation of ongoing assignments and responsibilities.
- May handle Voice switch (PBX) moves, adds, changes.
- Manage workload effectively and provide accurate accounting of work and time allocation.
- Occasional on-call availability for nights and weekends.
- Experience documenting technical procedures is required.
- Administrative duties as assigned.
- Travel Required 10- 20%
Requirements:
- Associates degree in Computer Science, Networking or related field preferred.
- Web development and publishing preferred.
- Requires experience with Windows Desktop Operating Systems.
- Requires technical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- PC hardware experience.
- Help desk support experience.
- Requires outstanding customer service skills.
- Good written, verbal and telephone communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills - must be able to interact with personnel in multiple business roles.
- Must be highly motivated, able to take initiative with little direction.
- Requires understanding of wide area network topologies.
- Requires knowledge of e-mail systems.
