Job Description:

We are seeking an IT Help Desk Associate to serve as the first point of contact in addressing our customers’ IT Help Desk questions including hardware, software, network, and telecommunications issues.

 

Our ideal candidate possesses knowledge including installation and troubleshooting of the following:

  • 3 -5 Years technical support experience in an industrial environment
  • Customer service / resolving customer issues
  • Help desk trouble ticket tracking software
  • A+ and Microsoft certifications
  • MS Office Suite (Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, Excel)
  • Windows XP
  • Windows 2003 Server
  • Local Area Network (LAN) / Wide Area Network (WAN)
  • Patchlink
  • Active Directory
  • VPN software
  • Symantec Endpoint Manager / Management of antivirus software
  • Installing and troubleshooting antivirus software
  • File serve administration
  • IP address management
  • Domain Name System (DNS)
  • Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
  • Configure accounts to meet customer needs

Responsibilities:

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide first level IT technical support to remote customers
  • Document customers calls and outcome of trouble ticket
  • Create customized deployment packages via Patchlink
  • Perform quality checks of all updates prior to install at customers’ sites
  • Install and troubleshoot antivirus software
  • Travel as necessary to support external customers’ IT needs
  • Provide user support for the following technologies:
    • MS Office Suite (Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, Excel)
    • Windows XP
    • Windows 2003 Server
    • Local Area Network (LAN) / Wide Area Network (WAN)
    • Patchlink
    • Active Directory
    • VPN software
    • Symantec Endpoint Manager / Management of antivirus software
    • Installing and troubleshooting antivirus software

Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years experience as an IT Help Desk Associate or Technical Customer Service Specialist
  • Provide user support for the following technologies:

    • Local Area Network (LAN) / Wide Area Network (WAN)

Our ideal candidate may have MS Certifications, an Associates Degree, or a Bachelors Degree OR a combination of education or certifications and IT Help Desk experience

 

Rate of Pay:

$55,000 - $65,000 (Salary based on Experience, education, and certifications)
