IT Help Desk/Computer Technician

About the Job

Cumberland Technologies is looking for a person with strong people & leadership skills. Someone who can take charge of tasks & provide suggestions for the future for the sites IT Department needs. This position will be a Senior Helpdesk Technician/ Computer tech. You will be responsible for maintaining approximately 150 users both local & remote. You will need to have experience in Active Directory & also be familiar with Backup exec, Windows Print server, Windows XP Professional, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 server, SharePoint & Lotus Notes 5. You must have knowledge with setting up exchange profiles, creating active directory NT accounts & exchange accounts as well. Experience with Altiris is a plus, however if you do not have any then you will be trained. This is a 40 hour a week job usually from 8:00Am-5:00 with one hour lunch. The job site is located in Durham in the industrial area. You will be required to be reachable during off times via a company supplied Cell phone. This is for emergency problems only, not on call. You will work closely with the existing tech on site & will be in charge of handling the day to day decisions about priority of jobs at the helpdesk.
