Core Banking IT Leads/Technical Project Managers-

Trade Finance/Deposits/Loans/3 Positions

Major Bank is looking for  IT Leads for each of the following business areas:  These are 3 separate positions.

Deposits- Expert knowledge of the Banking Business and technology related to Deposit Account Services (DDA, Savings & Time Deposit, CMS, ACH, and Check Processing, etc.).   Experience with Systematics software package is a plus.

Trade Finance- Expert knowledge of the Banking Business and technology related to Trade Finance services (Letter of Credit, Stand By Letters of Credit, Collections, Payments, Bank to Bank Reimbursements, etc.).   Experience with CGI Trade 360 product is a plus.

 Loans-Expert knowledge of the Banking Business and technology related to Loan services (Origination, Credit Control, Guarantee & Collateral, Loan disbursements, payments, etc.).   Experience with ACBS is a plus.

 

Responsibilities:

Analyze business problems / requirements / procedures to design/develop new systems or improve existing systems

Analyze system capabilities, workflows, and integration to provide optimal technology solutions

Analyze and recommend commercially available software as appropriate

Test, implement, maintain, and monitor Account servicing systems

Supervise Business Analysts, Process Engineers, and Developers    

Requirements:

Ten + years in managing and leading software application design, development, and deployment initiatives

Excellent interpersonal skills (Customer Service, Time Management) and communication skills, oral, speech recognition, and written (using MS Office suite).

Proficient in the use of end user reporting and other tool sets:  Business Objects, Crystal Reports, UML, query languages, etc.

Expert technical skills in multiple technologies and platforms (ie: Java / J2EE / .NET / Web Services, NT / AIX, MQ / XML / SOAP, SOA (Mediator / CentraSite), Web Methods (BPM, BAM, IS, Optimize).

Excellent analytical skills with ability to diagnose complex technical problems to root cause; ability to summarize prognosis and impacts as appropriate to all levels.

Strong depth and breadth of technical knowledge to design and scope multiple deliverables across a number of technologies

Strong coaching skills. Ability to step outside role confines and help teach and enable team members

Expert with system & design concepts, and standards. Provide technical expertise in terms of software usage, functionality, performance, aesthetics, reliance, reuse, and comprehensibility, economic and technological tradeoffs.

Strong people management and coaching skills 

Budget and Cost Control – delivery of on time / on budget solutions
