We need someone (right now this is a one person team) to come into a heterogeneous, data-driven, high customer touch environment and drive structure, change, and ingenuity. You will own our entire IT environment from end-user support, to systems, network, and apps administration, to new product and infrastructure enhancement. Our environment consists of: Predominantly Dell laptops (Windows XP), Outsourced Exchange and Blackberry servers, ShoreTel VOIP phone system, and other internal server based tools as well as a hosted rack with outsourced admin.

Accountabilities:

• Invent – bring and implement fresh technology ideas that support tactical and strategic company goals.
• Initiative – make everything great and when it’s great, make it better.
• Partner – don’t be “The IT Person.” Be the person who knows technology so well that it makes users lives easier, creates efficiencies that we never thought were possible, and keeps our business trending upward. Oh, and do this with a longing desire to help make things better, not simply “fix things.” Trouble ticket should be erased from your vernacular.
• Ownership – every piece of software, hardware, application, network, etc. is yours. Embrace this.

Technology Skills you should possess:

• Strong SQL skills
• Strong Windows desktop and server administration
• Scripting skills with one or more of the following: PHP, Perl, Python, etc.
• Open Source proponent. “Windows only” people need not apply
• Mac knowledge, ideally at a corporate/enterprise level but end-user is sufficient
• Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM applications is a huge plus
• Ability to speak to and demonstrate abilities/knowledge of scalable framework
