BASIC FUNCTION (SUMMARY OF DUTIES): |
The IT Manager's role is to ensure the streamlined operation of the IT Department in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. The IT Manager is responsible for providing technical direction and leadership to management, and staff. This position will manage a team of IT Professionals and will report to the worldwide IT Director. This individual will plan, coordinate and direct IT-related activities of the organization, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the IT department. The IT Manager will work closely with sites’ leadership to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. This person will also implement IT policies, procedures, Corporate security guidelines and General Computing Controls. |
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS |
Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including Business Applications, Infrastructure, and Telecommunication. |
Manage 10-15 IT staff, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions. |
Lead IT Department operations including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources. |
Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives as required. |
Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, compliance as related to Sarbanes Oxley's requirements for IT, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision. |
Develop and manage IT budget, including capital and expense. |
Vendor management including rate negotiations, service level agreements, issue resolution, compliance with the company’s standards, and on time execution of project deliverables. |

INCIDENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS |
Support the IT Director in the development and deployment of strategic initiatives, as required. |
SKILLS REQUIRED (EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, ETC.): Bachelor degree in the field of computer science. Technical requirements include 8-10+ years of demonstrated information technology management experience with working knowledge of SAP’s ERP system, Full life cycle application development, and Infrastructure. Familiarity with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOA) in general and General Computer Controls (GCC) specifically. Effective at customer service and business systems analysis. Effective team member with demonstrated leadership ability. Customer and team oriented with the ability to work and communicate effectively with staff at all levels. Strong oral and written communication skills.
