

Description:
Provide On-Site Technical Support to customer (primarily image analysts) supporting 1st and 2nd phase reporting in a dynamic operational work area (no image analysis performed by the support engineer).
Specific technical support includes the following OS and software: MS Windows XP Workstations, Windows 2003 Server Administration, MAAS (Multi-media Analysis and Archive System), MS Office (including: Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word, Access), JASC Paint Shop Pro, Sensor Systems Remote View Pro ELT, Symantec Anti-Virus, Veritas Back-up Exec, Easy CD Creator, Netscape and Internet Explorer Web Browsers.
Support administration and maintenance of the following hardware components: Dell Workstations and Servers, Extron and PESA video switching equipment, EMC SAN, Marshall Monitors, Plasma and LCD Monitors.
Attend and report weekly site communications group meetings, weekly status reports, communicating on site activities to team members and General Dynamic’s management.
Knowledge of the imagery exploitation lifecycle, imagery systems, geospatial systems or the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is a plus.

Qualifications:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree with a minimum 5 years applicable experience or related equivalent work experience.
The following knowledge and skills are required for this position:
1. MS Windows XP Workstation and 2003 Servers Administration used primarily on Dell and HP workstations and servers including all peripherals, printers, scanners and fax machines.
2. Must possess MS Office knowledge (Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word, Access) and be proficient with these applications.
3. Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
4. Excellent customer relation and telephone skills.
5. Ability to work in a team environment while providing on-site customer support.
6. Ability to work independently without close supervision.
The following knowledge and skills are highly desirable for this position:
1. Understanding of Netscape and Internet Explorer Web Browsers, HTML Pages structure, MS IIS Web Server.
2. Knowledge of: JASC Paint Shop Pro, Remote View Pro ELT, Easy CD Creator, Veritas Backup Exec software and Active Directory.

7. New sensor technology
Shift work is required. Customer site operates 24x7. Shifts are First Shift - 6am - 3pm, Second Shift - 2pm - 11 pm and Third Shift - 10 pm - 7 am. Shift pay differential is provided for second and third shift.
A current TS/SCI security clearance and US Citizenship are required.
