Uline, a leading international distributor of packaging & industrial supplies, seeks a Senior IT Analyst for their Corporate Office in Waukegan, IL (south of Milwaukee, Wisconsin).
Corporate Office is moving to Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin (Kenosha County) - Summer, 2010.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:

Report to the CIO & interact with other top executives in the company

Work with the IT teams in the development of technology strategies, business requirements, training materials, documenting systems & processes supporting the business

Analyze business operations to determine opportunities for improvement in IT operational processes & procedures to optimize technology investments

Coordinate research, analysis, proposal development & presentation of new IT hardware or software solutions

Provide project management & technical expertise to the implementation & maintenance of system-related & IT initiatives, improvements & rollouts of new/existing application solutions

Update documentation regarding IT processes, run book documentation, system flowcharts & IT policies/procedures

Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Solid understanding of programming methodologies - Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Working knowledge of the following system platforms: AS400, Microsoft Windows (desktop and servers), 4GL programming languages, storage systems & data/voice networks

15 + years analytical or IT operational experience
