Position Summary Statement:

The IT Technician functions include determining disposition of IT assets, obtaining specifications of computer equipment as needed, and completing Department of Defense sanitizing of systems per customer requirements.  Material Handler functions include receiving, sorting, stocking, picking, shipping, and inventory control.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  Maintain professional and courteous relations with all customers and internal personnel.
  
  
• 
  
  Receive and process all receipts daily.
  
  
• 
  
  Determine disposition of inbound products- remarket, recycle.
  
  
• 
  
  Sortation of remarket and recycle products.
  
  
• 
  
  Obtaining system specification either through software program or web searching for remarketing of customer inventory.
  
  
• 
  
  DoD sanitizing of customer products as per contract requirements, if applicable.
  
  
• 
  
  Blancco reporting on a monthly basis- asset and erasures.
  
  
• 
  
  Ship all product/orders within the parameters set by both the customer and Equipnet, Inc.
  
  
• 
  
  Participate in physical inventory as needed.
  
  
• 
  
  Maintain good housekeeping standards by cleaning work area and sweeping floors daily.
  
  
• 
  
  Understand and adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
  
  
• 
  
  Ensure safety and security practices are adhered to.
  
  
• 
  
  Other duties as assigned by management.

  Overtime as needed.

Education, Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

1-2 years experience in a warehouse environment

Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with all levels of personnel as well as external contacts.

Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Understanding of current computer technology and experience in the use of computers including software programs.

Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Working Conditions:

Position is in a warehouse environment that involves moderate risks and demands. Position is subject to changes in temperature.  Position also involves long periods of standing and lifting items of various shapes and sizes.
