We are looking for experienced Project Managers as CyberData's full time employee to provide the leadership for functional and/or technical analysis, development, and implementation of enterprise application capabilities. We seek positive, assertive team players who have a strong desire to succeed in a team- and customer-oriented environment. CyberData Project Managers are responsible for all phases of the SDLC development cycle and should be skilled in creating project plans, establishing and managing deadlines, establishing and managing project scope and quality assurance, and planning for and mitigating project risk.

Job Duties (include but not limited to):
- Applies significant management and leadership experience to ensure successful delivery of multi-focus proficiencies
- Leads project risk assessments and defines deliverable acceptance criteria; balances project needs and demands with operational capabilities of the organization
- Manages development of best practices
- Provide Technology Solution Development and Integration across the SDLC including requirements, functional specs, design, custom development, integration, testing, and deployment.
- Utilize formal project management techniques to lead projects.
- Direct the project team through the full system development life cycle (SDLC) of the project--including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and close-down.
- Initiate and develop program and project work products including: Project Charter, Project Scope Statement, Project Schedule, Detailed Project Plan, and Project WBS.
- Identify resource requirements and coordinate the assignment and scheduling of tasks among labor categories.
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor and control task progress.
- Monitor actual project hours and costs against the project/program estimates and budget.
- Communicate effectively with project team members, management, and project stakeholders on status, issues, risks, and project goals and objectives.
- Report status to project stakeholders through multiple formal communication methods (e.g, monthly status reports, bi-weekly snapshot reports, project plan updates) and informal methods (e.g, ad-hoc requests and email).
- Track and quantify risks in the Project Risk Tracker and mitigate risks with project stakeholders.
- Ensure that project deliverable dates are met: create and review project deliverable, submit deliverable to the client, and acknowledge work of project team members through formal communication methods.
- Provide management oversight for the web application development management team and activities.
- Manage team, report status, track issues and risk and escalate when appropriate.
- Develop and define application development strategy and detailed approach.
- Coordinate SME and BA resources to produce application development requirement specifications and use cases.
- Work with business functional office to review and finalize requirements and analysis.
Job Qualifications:
U.S. Citizen only. Must be able to obtain a NACI clearance. No relocation is available for this position.
- Bachelor’s degree, MS or MBA is a plus.
- Five to seven years experience in software/application development project management and business analysis including direct Federal Government client interfacing;
- A minimum of three years experience with the SDLC, web-based application development.
- A minimum of four years experience providing verbal and written communications to a client audience including: leading presentations and conference calls, composing project status reports and delivering briefings, and developing project documentation (e.g., functional and system requirements, traceability matrix, project schedules).
- Familiarity with a formal project management methodology (e.g., PMBOK, CMMI).
- Experience in systems engineering, including experience in design, development, and implementation of technology projects using Software Development Life cycle (SDLC)
- Experience in developing and managing systems requirements, including developing and delivering CONOPS, System Requirements Specifications (SRS) documents, and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) documents
- Experience in developing and managing system test plans and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to elicit requirements from system stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with production software engineers to convey requirements and ensure software design meets stated requirements
- Experience in developing and tracking a project schedule using Microsoft Project or similar project scheduling tool
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with program management, including the ability to write project status reports, and deliver oral presentations
- Demonstrated ability to define project scope and schedule milestones and work with system development team to meet milestone dates
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage project scope and or resource changes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Executive presence and high energy level.
- Prefer strong technical background (Technical SW Development) with PMP/PMI certification
- Prior Federal contractor experience is a plus.
