E-commerce company searching for the right self directed, quick learning individual that can take on entry level desktop support and various IT projects. You will be trained to bring up your skill levels where needed. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. 1. PRIMARY PURPOSE: Provide first tier technical support for 30-node Windows XP LAN and Internet connection. Create, manage and audit reports, spreadsheets and other data work in Excel and Access. After training, provide first tier tech support for Toshiba telephone system and web-based ERP platform.

2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Provide front line tech support for windows, office, or Internet/browser issues. Work with IT manager to resolve issues and plan for maintenance & upgrades.
b. Database administration – data entry, import/export, and manipulation using Excel and Access.
c. Become proficient in NetSuite hosted ERP system, troubleshooting user issues and performance problems. Eventually become resource for users in customizing and utilizing the system.

3. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Provide support for departments requesting custom NetSuite data searches and reports.
b. Regular maintenance of Windows XP PCs.
c. Manage multiple projects, requests and deadlines. Must meet deadlines with consistent, quality work.
d. Prepare weekly data report on company metrics using NetSuite and MS Excel.
e. Provide weekly written report on activities, needs, problems, etc. using MS Word.

4. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
a. Perform high quality work and willing to expand your knowledge in multiple areas.
b. Be able to complete assigned tasks successfully with minimal supervision; must be self-motivated and able to manage your delegated tasks and be able to handle interruptions.
c. Previous experience in an IT department or in house desktop support, or power user familiarity with Windows XP or later.
d. Solid understanding of Windows XP, Office, and Internet troubleshooting.
e. Demonstrate a positive attitude towards end users with workstation issues.
f. Excellent MS Office computer software skills using Outlook, Word, and Excel.
g. Basic understanding of database principles, MS Access or SQL.
h. Minimum 50 word per minute typing speed.
i. Strong organizational and time management skills. This position requires managing multiple projects.
j. Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, high activity level and overall initiative.
k. Proficient English language and communication skills.

5. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
a. Basic HTML experience with CSS and Dreamweaver skills with hand coding a plus.
b. Proficiency with Mac operating systems.
c. Two years experience with Access, Excel and/or other databases & tools.
d. Experience with browser-based ERP or database systems.
e. Understanding of basics of search engine optimization (SEO).

6. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
a. Subject to long periods at work desk, viewing computer monitor and typing.
b. Assembly & troubleshooting of PCs with small parts.
c. Ability to occasionally lift 40 lbs.

7. OTHER
a. Typical schedule is 7am to 4pm Monday through Friday but must be available for weekend or evening hours as needed.
