IT Quality Control Analyst

Hamilton, NJ

The IT Quality Control Analyst will identify and create test assets and perform application testing. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Creates and executes the appropriate Test Assets (plans, cases, scripts, metrics) to assure the developed application conforms to requirements and design.
  • Executes testing across multiple testing phases, including SIT, UAT, and Regression.
  • Participates in Peer Reviews to ensure the completeness of all Test Assets created.
  • Understands and follows all applicable SDLC and testing processes.
  • Identifies, reports, and reviews defects in assessing application quality.
  • May participate in the transition of software and systems into production.
  • Collects Test Data for test execution.
Qualifications

Requires Bachelor's degree in related field; minimum one year of testing and application quality experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Demonstrated ability to perform test execution.

  • Must be able to work on your own and in a team environment
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium for creating and maintaining test scripts. This includes both the IDE and web driver tools.
  • Experience with C# and/or JAVA for developing test scripts
  • Experience with SQL and Microsoft SQL Server tools
