Sigma Systems is looking for proven IT Recruiters to run a full desk in our Marlborough office.
Our IT Recruiters will generate their own work by bringing in new job openings to source on and fill. These positions will vary from IT consulting openings and full-time openings, to Software Development Life Cycle project openings.
Responsibilities: •Understanding technology and the marketplace •Prospecting for job openings •Networking with hiring managers •Building a book of business •Identifying qualified candidates utilizing a variety of resources •Matching qualified candidates to clients’ requirements by evaluating, screening, and interviewing the candidates •Negotiating competitive wage rates and gain employment commitment from candidates •Completing necessary pre-employment information gathering ranging from reference checks to background/drug tests •Scheduling interviews •Managing/maintaining contract employees for the duration of their assignment. •Managing contractor related issues and handle such situations accordingly. •Maintaining relationships with industry contacts to provide customer service, gain industry knowledge, and get referrals and sales leads. •Briefing and debriefing candidates before and after interviews •Managing the offer process including helping to follow-up with candidates and extending offers •Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation on all conversations with candidates •Utilizing a database of candidates and accruing additional candidates to fill open positions

Required Skills: •Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience •3-5 years of IT staffing/recruiting experience •1-3 years of agency experience •Solid knowledge of the IT industry •Demonstrated ability in developing initial contacts by phone •Prospecting skills •Demonstrated ability in sourcing IT candidates via cold calling and network recruiting •Previous experience with internet recruiting •Motivated and driven with a strong desire to succeed •Generate leads and work those leads from a warm call to a prospective customer •Work assigned accounts for marketing purposes
