IT Revenue Cycle and Finance Educator/Trainer

Health Quest is looking for an IT Revenue Cycle and Finance Educator to join their IT Learning Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact on 3 hospital campuses including an extensive network of health care affiliates to develop and train revenue cycle and finance information systems learning programs. We are seeking creative, self-directed and ambitious individuals to work with internal clients and subject matter experts to quickly develop curriculum, training materials, web based training and conduct training sessions. In addition, he/or she will continue to monitor and improve the effectiveness of ongoing learning programs.

* Conduct training programs for revenue cycle, finance and purchasing applications utilized by Health Quest Revenue Cycle, Financial, and Purchasing Departments.

* Work with the IT Learning Services team, management, user community and others to analyze training and performance needs, design curriculum, develop training materials, and measure results.


* Lead special projects focused on the integration of revenue cycle, finance and purchasing information systems to increase staff efficiency, knowledge and skills.

* Build and assemble training curriculum using various tools including a Learning Management System (LMS) and WBT authoring software (e.g. Adobe Captivate, Articulate Presenter, etc.)

Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in Education or Instructional Design preferred.

At least 3+ years experience as a trainer teaching computer applications to end users.

A minimum of 2+ years experience developing and delivering web-based, instructor-led and blended learning course materials.

Experience with healthcare insurance and revenue cycle concepts an asset.

Experience with authoring tools a plus (e.g. Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Snag-It, etc.)

Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) a plus

Excellent oral and written communication and instructional skills

Excellent customer service skills *
