Information Technology Security SME

Requires 3+ years in IT security management, critical dependancies, network infrastructure, risk assessment methodologies, security infrastructures, processes and implementations. Requires strong organizational skills and project management skills and must be able to juggle several initiatives at one time. Must have a firm understanding of government security requirements and experience with relational database design and architecture. Must have experience in data administration and security methods with Oracle and SQL. Prefer experience with Windows, UNIX, TCP/IP, Linux, Storage devices, network devices, fail-safe strategies, system architecture, LAN/WAN methods and intranet/Internet security environments including; firewalls, intrusion detection, incident response, policy writing,  vulnerability testing, operating system hardening, regulatory compliance and data classification. This IT Security SME will conduct application security reviews, test & evaluate new technologies to enhance the security of the enterprise as well as develop, implement, monitor & enhance data security policies, procedures & standards. Will design application security architecture, administer and maintain network security systems, and monitor advancements in information security technologies.

Application Requirements

Required Experience

      * 8+ years experience in IT

      * 3+ years experience in IT Security

      * Knowledge of government security requirements

      * Strong project management and organizational skills

      * Strong understanding of critical dependencies and network infrastructure

      * Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, auditing methodologies and tools

      * Ability to juggle several issues at one time as well as multiple project deadlines
