Job Description:
The candidates should be familiar with the roles of Data Architect, Data Modeler and DBA and be prepared to work in collaboration with those folks but should understand that they will be coding most of the time.
1. Strong SQL skills including complex queries, query optimization and tuning - a must!
2. Basic Unix scripting skills a must!
3. Any ETL tool experience Informatica or SAP DI (Data Integrator) a must!
4. Nice to have basic Java skills
5. Basic understanding of technical architecture: networking, SFTP, HTTP,SSL,
Required Skills:
Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse Application developer.
Experience in developing BI solutions using Business Objects.
Experience required:
Experience in developing BI solutions using Business Objects.
High level of experience with Data Modeling, databases development, ETL and other database components to support Datamarts and data warehousing for Business Intelligence Dashboards, Reporting and Data Mining.
Detailed knowledge of Data Warehouse and Data mart schema design and development.
Very strong SQL and PL/SQL skills required and experience with data quality tools and Understands data integration processes and how to tune for performance.
In-depth understanding of Dimensional Modeling and OLAP. Experience with Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server.
