Modis is seeking experienced IT Service Manager/ Project Manager for one of their clients
Our Client, Located in Concordville, PA; is the leader in their Industry. Our client desires to hire this candidate on a Contract-to-Hire basis with conversion to their employ after a contract period of net less than 6 months.
Responsibilities include:
- Project manage releases and new deployments of infrastructure service capabilities
- Work together with Architecture and Operations to develop detailed deployment and implementation documentation and processes
- Conduct regular status meetings with team members supporting release deployment
- Develop a working knowledge of business solution infrastructure to provide input into Application deployments, Infrastructure upgrades, etc to ensure a successful implementation of programs
- Assist with the deployment and upgrade of managed infrastructure
- Align Application teams and Business Solutions needs and capabilities with the delivery of Infrastructure services
- Effectively manage capacity needs with Business Solutions teams and ensure that solutions are scalable and aligned for future growth
Required Experience & Skills
ü BS/BA in Computer Science, MIS or relevant degree is preferred or equivalent professional qualifications
ü 7+ years of large-scale application implementation and/or operations experience
ü Ability in understanding and identifying specific business needs and delivering technology solutions
ü Knowledge of Global applications and infrastructure
ü Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library - ITIL is a strong plus
ü PMP certification is a plus
ü Strong organizational and problem solving abilities
ü Strong verbal and written communication skills
