IT Solutions - Sales Executive

CIBER, Inc., A Global Outsourcing and IT Solutions firm is seeking a Senior Consulting Sales Executive with proven sales success in the IT consulting industry selling solution-based services, outsourcing, and strategic staffing. We are looking for a seasoned professional that has demonstrated the ability to create and cultivate solid business relationships with C & VP-level executives in the greater Atlanta area. The role will involve selling custom IT Services solutions by leveraging national and offshore supported solution options.
 
The candidate must have demonstrated success in developing and executing a thorough sales program, for an IT Solutions Consulting firm. This role is a Technology Services Sales role, requiring a thorough consultative approach to selling CIBER's comprehensive set of practices and services, and does not involve any products or alliances.  
 

CIBER, Inc. (a recognized leader in IT Solutions) seeks a Senior Account Executive with proven sales success in the IT Consulting Services industry. This role involves selling Custom Solution-based IT Services, IT Outsourcing, and Strategic Staffing. We are seeking a seasoned consultative solutions sales expert with significant experience in this market, able to work directly with client leaders to win contracts. The right candidate will be successful in developing and executing a thorough sales program, for CIBER's Custom Solutions team. This role requires the ability to create and cultivate solid business relationships with CXO & VPX - level Executives. The candidate should have experience positioning or leveraging domestic and offshore supported solutions in a variety of IT Consulting Services. The ideal candidate must have a great work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team, when necessary, while contributing to the primary goals of this company. A current knowledge of the marketplace, prospective client-base and competition in the area is vital.


  • Minimum of 5 years experience of selling IT Consulting Services

  • Must have successful experience selling IT Professional Services contracts

  • Minimum of 3+ years of current experience selling such services in the Atlanta area

 
Experience selling any or all of the following types of solution based engagements:
  • Custom Application Development

  • Mobile Web Apps

  • Application Integration

  • IT Security

  • Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence Solutions

  • Global Application Outsourcing

  • IT Strategy

  • IT Outsourcing

 
Must be capable of the following selling skills:
  • Experience in selling to CXOs, VPs and IT Directors

  • Expert at prospecting and account / territory development

  • Proven experience in exceeding sales quotas

  • Use a solution sales methodology or approach

  • Combined creative and analytical abilities to identify client needs

  • Work first to understand customers business and needs and then align solutions

  • Experienced with team selling as well as being able to work independently

  • Good Presentation skills

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • Excellent aptitude and strong desire to learn

  • Self motivated, goal oriented, competitive

  • Must have excellent manager & client references
