ACTION TARGET, a Provo UT specialty
manufacture in the Home Land Security Industry is enjoying rapid
growth. We are seeking someone who is passionate about open source
systems, to assist in the maintenance and improvement of an in house
ERP (enterprise resource planning) database application written in
postgreSQL and TCL/TK running on Linux. The application is mature (5
years) and runs on 8 servers with over 70 diskless boxes.

Job Purpose:

Using open source libraries built by
our founder and president, improve and expand the functionality of
the ERP though user feedback and known desired integration projects.
In addition, this position would assist in maintaining
the physical network.

Duties:

* Maintain and publish ERP libraries
written in TCL/TK.

* Maintain Diskless Work Systems and
Laptops

* Work with founder and president on
maintaining proper database organization, structure
and performance.

* Continuously improve existing ERP
applications through user feedback.

* Prepares users by conducting
training.

* Eventually post and maintain open
source ERP form based on the libraries.

Skills/Qualifications:

Database structure
familiarity, excellent programing skills and analysis, Teamwork,
Technical Zeal, Linux Operating Systems.
