Job Functions include the following

• Primary liaison to end user and other IT departments for infrastructure projects
• Work closely with vendors to negotiate the acquisition of products and services
• Present ideas and proposals for management review
• Develop detailed plans for implementation of assigned infrastructure projects, to include staffing, hardware, and software as well as detailed documentation
• Identify support activities of all groups participating in each project
• Help manage project progress and provide technical assistance as necessary to meet project deadlines
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, IT standards/procedures, and user specifications/requirements
• Coordinate project meetings.  Prepare agenda and status reports, answer and hoc questions, and provide guidance for porject members
• Maintain global group policy structure for both users and computers
• Implement and document disaster recovery plans
• Evaluate new technologies and help set corporate standards
• Set policies and operating guidelines and serve as a resources for system design for all Himax Imaging sites globally
• Shared responsibility with all IT department teams worldwide to design and implement LAN and remote site network configurations

Required Knowledge of:

• At least 3-5 years of related experience
• Windows 2003 server
• VMware ESX
• Lotus Notes
• DNS
• Desktop operating system including Windows XP and Windows Vista
• Proven project leadership skills preferred
• Unix/Language script is plus
• LAN/ networking is plus
