Participates in the execution and completion of IT projects. Will work to ensure that all infrastructure components, hardware/software, network and desktop are installed as required to satisfy customer and project objectives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

The Manager, IT Systems will be responsible for the installation of network infrastructure components, desktop systems, departmental systems and other peripherals as required to satisfy project objectives and customer requirements. Responsibilities also include client/customer relations; supervise resources, procurement, planning and the preparation of all relevant and required documentation including Operations Turnover Documentation and QC. The incumbent will interact with groups internal and external to Emerging Health IT, and will be expected to conform to and utilize existing and forthcoming policies and processes. Other duties include managing vendor relationships; overseeing and managing multiple projects, varying in size and complexity, and multiple locations.

Position Requirements:

·         B.S. in Computer Science preferred.

·         Project Management Fundamentals.

·         Experience with networking protocols and components (hubs, switches and routers), cabling, (copper and fiber) and wireless technologies. Excellent PC, hardware and software knowledge.

·         Understanding of Project Management methodologies. Ability to create and maintain project schedules and budgets.

·         Previous experience as a ‘hands on’ Project Manager, including use of standard planning tools.

·         Healthcare experience or background a plus, but not required.

·         Experience in managing technical & vendor resources.

·         Experience in interfacing with clients, executives, vendors, peers, etc.

·         Excellent customer service skills.

·         Ability to do technical documentation (Visio, Excel, etc) as required.

·         People skills (working with vendors and clients)

·         Team oriented, focused, conservative approach; thorough and results oriented.
