Imaging Clinical Collaboration Manager

The medical imaging system manager/clinical collaboration lead is responsible for coordinating Imaging IS strategy and for defining operational workflows and clinical requirements for imaging IT solutions. This position will work closing with IS leadership. The collaboration lead is the main point of communication to and from clinicians regarding imaging information systems strategies and is the main point of control for all imaging collaboration activities with clinicians. This position will identify standardized imaging operational workflows and will document, assist to implement, and audit compliance of the workflows. This position may have additional system accountabilities in implementation of new imaging business strategies now under development.



B.S. degree and 7 years demonstrated health services management -OR- Masters degree and 5 years health services management is required.  Masters degree preferred.


Experience in Imaging dept. operations and management required.


The incumbent should be highly respected, motivated and possess excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.


Must also be able to handle multiple priorities effectively in a highly complex environment and have experience with and support for system planning, standardization, and process.


The applicant needs to be self-motivated, task oriented and able to work with minimal direction and supervision.


Understanding of IS concepts, structures, and processes required.


Prior experience in a clinical IS environment working with department clinical systems preferred.
