Mercury Insurance Group (NYSE: MCY), a leader in the automobile insurance industry for over 45 years has an immediate opportunity for an Office Adjuster.
Responsibilities:
Ä Evaluate, investigate and adjust first party claims and third party property damage claims with limited liability in a timely and efficient manner as to prevent unnecessary expense to the Company and policyholders.
Ä Strong written and verbal communication skills required to effectively and professionally correspond with claimants and insureds.
Ä Analytical ability to evaluate relevant information essential in resolving routine collision and comprehensive claims.
Ä Occasional exercise of independent judgment which may have moderate impact on the Company in areas such as costs, consumer loyalty, and legal complications.
Requirements:
Ä Completion of an Associate's degree (or equivalent combination of education and work experience).
Ä 1 year of Customer Service experience.
Ä Strong customer service skills are a must.
Ä Critical attention to detail.
Ä Good organizational skills needed to manage a high volume of claims.
Starting rate of pay is $13.77/hour
