Immersive Learning Designer
The Adayana Government Group is seeking candidates for the position of Immersive Learning Designer to work in our
Champaign, Illinois or Indianapolis, Indiana office, with the possibility of working from home. This is a great opportunity for someone to develop fun and compelling, instructionally-targeted game design and implementation combined with use of Instructional Design principles.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Create learning and GameWare products:
- Research content requirements using web, client-supplied, Adayana provided, and independent interview
- Conduct subject matter expert interviews
- Design, create, implement, and iterate fun and compelling gameplay
- Proof and edit content, ensuring document logic, accuracy, and appropriate tone for audience and language consistency, and product conformance to project requirements
- Assist with identification and sourcing of graphics and model assets
- Use current standard authoring and rapid development tools
2. With minimal direct supervision. Immersive Learning designer performs selected instructional design tasks:
- Create learning scenarios
- Create and maintain detailed, up-to-date specs, asset lists, and other design documents, and communicate those requirements to other team members
- Provide input on the game’s vision and help champion the vision to other team members
- Keep leads and managers advised of progress on tasks, recommended improvements and problems encountered
- Develop technical procedures, given appropriate content
3. Manage work:
- Participate in internal and client meetings
- Demonstrate appropriate work ethic, business attire and behavior
- Work within project time on budget parameters
- Use current standard tools and processes for work management
- Assist with other duties in support of the project design team as assigned

Job Requirements:
- Must be US citizen
- Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Computer Graphics Technology or equivalent discipline
- 2-4 years minimum work experience
- 2 complete product cycles as a professional designer preferred
- Proven track record with AAA console products and/or online development preferred
- Ability to develop / edit content according to specific clients needs· Remain current with competitive products and upcoming releases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for games and ability to articulate that passion clearly and analytically
- Broad knowledge base of console and PC games
- Demonstrated experience in working in environments which require managing personal responsibilities in a time sensitive situation
- Proficiency with editors such as Unity3D, UnrealED, Source, QERadiant, or CryTek’s Sandbox engine a plus
- Sample work required that demonstrates playable samples of previous work experience or development
- Ability to obtain government security clearance required, active clearance a plus
