Current Need


Implementation Consultant/Analyst - Contract Management

Position Description


The implementation manager will work closely with sales during strategic sales calls and direct complex, multi-faceted implementation efforts for large and/or strategic accounts.



Responsible for working with the customer during implementations to understand their payment, contract and financial structures to document the execution of rules. Grows the McKesson relationship directly with senior client executives, including implementation sponsors, and other key constituents within the health plan. Can make commitments of product or other team members to the customer.



The role of Implementation Manager also provides direction for functional enhancements, marketing and strategy. Is involved in market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs.

Additional Knowledge & Skills


Domain knowledge of the contract management/claims management. Computer skills including all Microsoft Programs with an intermediate to expert knowledge of Excel. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, evidence of successful team leadership and membership. Individual must have the ability to present to and communicate with senior management with the clients organization. Frequent interaction with senior management requires ability to present, question and challenge.

Minimum Requirements


8+ years of contract management experience (health plan, provider), extensively engaged in managing negotiating key financial terms for contract management, and facility claims payment expertise.

Education


Marketing or Business degree with healthcare experience. MBA, Master¿s degree in a relevant field preferred.
