This position is responsible for developing programs and materials to ensure the successful roll-out and maximum use of OCLC services, with a specialty in configuring interoperability with Identity Management (IDM)/Authentication systems. The person in this position will work with IDM counterparts at our institutions to agree upon and develop IDM configurations to interoperate with our WorldCat services products. IDM services will be implemented for products such as Navigator, FLIC, WorldCat Local, and Illiad. This role also conducts post implementation service reviews and determines modifications needed to improve configuration efficiency and serves as subject matter expert on IDM-related topics including standards, privacy, and EZproxy configuration.
Directly responsible for development of materials that support implementation services related to IDM and the on-going effective use of OCLC products. Materials may include project management related tools/templates, training materials, process flows and sales collateral.
Directly responsible for working with OCLC development and testing teams as new products or new product functionality related to IDM come to market. Serve as the IDM configuration subject matter expert on these teams.
Working with Customer Service staff, provide on-going quality and customer satisfaction review of implementation services and identify necessary changes to program materials, processes and training.
Provide pre-sales support to sales staff by assisting with implementation service pricing information and proposal development.
Minimum 3 years in software implementation role, leading customer-facing implementation efforts.
Minimum 1 year experience with Identity Mangement or Authentication systems including configuration of EZproxy and other widely used Identity Management systems.
Must have excellent team building and verbal communication skills.
Must have strong analytic ability to perform gap assessments for libraries overall use of OCLC services.
Must have excellent written communication skills and ability to clearly summarize, document and communicate complex results.
