Implementation Specialist
About the Job
In the role of IT Implementation Specialist (IS), you will serve as a Senior Consultant on a given team. You will provide support for our customers for complex technical issues across a wide variety of environments and platforms. The IS also serves as a resource for our other technical consultants. The IS will also develop detailed technical implementation plans for our customer projects. The IS should have at least 3-4 years of strong technical, as well as desktop, server support and implementation experience. The IT Implementation Specialist will be a contact for our customers for all IT related services networking (infrastructure and support), desktops, laptops, servers and the operating systems that run on them, everything related to email technology (email servers, email clients), handheld devices, off the shelf software (MS Office), etc.). You will be part of a team of consultants and you will work with these team members. You will make sure that the work we perform is of the highest quality and that we get the job done in a timely manner for our customers. Responsibilities:
o Implement network and infrastructure related projects for our clients
o Troubleshoot and resolve computer and network related problems
o Perform analysis of IT needs at customer's locations
o Identify technology solutions based on analysis of customers' needs
o Strong and consistent communication with customers
o Documenting work performed and other technical information for our clients
Requirements:
o Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in the following:
o Ability to diagnose and fix hardware and software issues for both desktops and servers
o Experience installing and troubleshooting problems on WinVista, WinXP, Win2K/Win2003/2008 Server, IIS, Exchange, DNS
o End-User and Help Desk experience in MS Office Suite and other common desktop applications
o Experience in configuration and troubleshooting of LANs and WANs, switches and routers
o Configuration of TCP/IP settings on network and troubleshooting TCP/IP issues
o Certifications such as A+, MCSE, CNE, MCTS, MCITP, CCNA are a plus but not required
