Support Incorporated is a provider of Mental Health/Developmental Disability/Substance Abuse Services in Gaston, Lincoln and Cleveland Counties.  We are currently seeking a qualified In-Home Therapist to lead a team of three staff members in providing Intensive In-Home Services to our consumers.  This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary plus benefits (Health/Dental insurance and 401-K)

Primary Purpose

The In Home Therapist position involves providing individual and family therapy to children,adolescents, and their families seeking services from Support Incorporated.  These services will be provided 24/7/365 with a team of individuals.  This person will provide supervision for the two other team members and coordination of the treatment for the families served by their team.  The In-Home team will serve no more than 8 families at any given time.   The In-Home Service Team will be first responder to crisis and after hour emergency situation involving consumers under their care. Furthermore, the in home therapist position involves providing screenings, intakes, assessments, diagnostic assessments and evaluations as needed.  Additional responsibilities include attending treatment team meetings, networking with the community,advocating for the best interest of the consumer and case management functions of linking and referring consumer to necessary supports as needed.

Minimum Education and Experience:  Minimum requirement of Provisionally Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Practicing Counselor or Licensed Psychological Associate.  . Person must have at least one year of experience providing therapy services. If the consumer being served has substance abuse issues one team member will be required to have the credentials of a CCS, CCAS orCSAC.
