In Store Marketer - Empire Today
POSITION SCOPE This position gains the interest of shoppers for the product lines of Empire Today. As an ISM, you’ll earn an hourly wage + bonuses. Bonuses are based on your performance and productivity, so you receive as you achieve! | ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets each customer in a professional manner.
- Maintains a positive attitude at all times and handles each customer in a polite, professional manner.
- Asks appropriate questions to determine customer needs and interest in scheduling a future appointment.
- Reports hours worked and lead information on a daily basis.
- Maintains and meets scheduling requirements established at time of hire or as agreed upon between manager and employee.
| KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must be a self-starter, have the ability to stay focused on goals and be self-disciplined
- Must be able to maintain a positive attitude while handling rejection
- Must have legible handwriting
- Must have above average verbal communication skills
- Candidates with ability to persuade / minimum selling skills preferred
- Prior face-to-face marketing experience is helpful but not required
- This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Computer Knowledge Requirements: Word, Excel, E-mail
